What We Believe - The Nature of God
Beliefs God the Father - God is eternal and the Creator. He is Omnipotent (does all), Omnipresent (is everywhere), and Omniscient (knows all). People are His creation made in His image and God is worthy of all honor. Because people are made in God's image, they also are worthy of respect and honor.

Jesus the Son - The only remedy for sin and separation from God's family. He came into this world through the virgin birth. He is fully God and fully man. He lived a life without sin and provides the perfect role model lifestyle for each of us. He suffered a torturous death, in disgrace, carrying the sin of mankind upon himself so that we can be made right in God's eyes through his sacrifice. He was raised from death and ascended to heaven, where he stands at the right hand of God, acting as our mediator and intercessor to God the Father.

God the Holy Spirit - As promised by Jesus, the Holy Spirit was sent to his people and church on the Day of Pentecost. He comforts his people, gives them the power to live the life of Christ daily, and intercedes for us when we do not know how to pray. It is the Holy Spirit who provides special gifts to his people for the government, growth and maturing of the church. God does not call gifted people for service. God calls people to serve and then gifts them as the Holy Spirit knows is necessary and appropriate for the individual and the body of Christ - the local church.
